lil' review...
okay...now we had some games in this season. and i have to say, alba just lost the one against bonn and won the rest. but they still are no real team. great individual players...but no team.
last game agains paderborn was real entertaining: nice dunking show of sharrod and ruben. that was real nice actually and the first time it was fun watching them. hopefully there will be some changes in team spirit soon cuz i want my guys to get the championship!

martynas is doing a great job in bonn! he became one of the most important players there in just one month! that is so cool and i am happy about it (even though he chunked my jersey!!).
bernd also playes real good at the moment!

but biggest improvement: ryan! wow...this guy is...just wow! first season in bbl he was so cool and great on court. he even was member of the all star team. then he plaed as back up for darius hall in quakenbrück. he nearly didn't get any chance to show what he can do. so the last season wasn't the best. and this season in karlsruhe he is brilliant! every game he has great stats! i am so happy about that! good job, mr. bond :o)

short summary...
well...okay, alba now played 3 games: 2 wins and 1 loss. till now they haven't convinced me of being a real team. there are so many great individual players...but they don't play together as a team! and that makes me sad...the 2 wins against leverkusen and ulm were okay. but no great games.
and then there was the loss against bonn. it's nothing to be ashamed of when you loose against such a strong team like bonn. but HOW?! they didn't even fight except for the last few minutes...hopefully there'll be chenges soon!

but hey...i am happy for marty! he does such a phenomenal good job in bonn!! but i miss you, bro!!!! big hug!

pre-season is over...regular season starts!
well...with a win again czech champion nymborg alba finishes the pre-season. and now there are just 6 days left to prepare for the regular season. i really hope there's gonna be more "team spirit" on sunday. otherwise bonn will have an easy game. we'll see what happens.

Cologne wins BBL champions cup 2006!
well...yesterday there was the "big revanche" when alba had their last pre-season game against cologne who won the german championship last season.
well...what can say? they won again. and with just 1 point (75:74) because someone hit the buzzer beater 3pointer. wow...cologne has a great team!!
hmmm...alba? i don't know. the game wasn't that good. alba couldn't cope with cologne's tactics and the defense was weak. there were just owens, avery and ford who showed kinda nice game frome time to time. just the cruchtime was real good when the crowd was cheering. so the last 6 minutes of the game we saw a great game!! i think alba has lot of potentials...but they need to use them!!! otherwise we'll loose the first game of regular season next week against bonn.
so guys...keep practicing team play!!

after the game i asked marcin gortat of cologne (he's a friend of szy) where szymon will play next season. and he told me everything :o) thanks man, i appreciate that!!!!
he has signed a contract in legea scafati basket. this team just got from 2nd devison in 1st devision. i guess he'll be happy there cuz he's going to get much more time then!

everything is new.
so alright...yesterday i got to know the new team of alba when we went to cottbus to see a pre-season game against polish champion slask wroclaw. okay...we won. but the team didn't play well. sharrod was great! he really made it to one of the central players in the team! i am cool with that. nenad played good defense but his offense still needs some work. koko...wow, he's a defense monster!! so cool! chris and will are a lil on the quite site. maybe they just need some time and hopefully will play better. and man...mr. boumtje-boumtje is huge!! wow! but he didn't do too good. nico did a good job. i think there is lot's of potential in him!
all in all the team is young, athletic, fighting and definitely fast. but somehow there's something missing. maybe it chamges when demond and jovo (and maybe matej?!) will come back. but i don't know...this special lil thing that makes champions is missing. hopefully i am wrong the guys will reach the team's aims!
